Information on the Protection of Personal Data;
At Ticbrands, we attach great importance to processing and preserving your personal data in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("Law"). We would like to inform our customers about our purposes and methods for collecting, processing, and transferring personal data, as well as your rights arising from the Law.
1. Methods of Collecting Personal Data
As Ticbrands , in our capacity as data controller, within the framework of our legal obligations arising from the legislation, we may process your personal data verbally, through the website ( www.ticsbrand.com ), social media channels, mobile applications and similar means, verbally, in writing or electronically.
2. Processing of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing
As Ticbrands , acting as the data controller, your personal and/or sensitive personal data, which we obtain with your consent, may be obtained, recorded, stored, modified, updated, periodically checked, rearranged, classified, and kept for the period necessary for the purpose for which it is processed or stipulated in the relevant law through our call centers, written communication channels, social media pages, mobile communication channels, in-store communication channels, and/or any other channels, including but not limited to these, in whole or in part. These data may be shared/transferred to private and legal entities with which Ticbrands works or to public institutions and organizations for which it is legally obligated and/or to relevant third-party natural persons/legal entities residing in Turkey or abroad, and may be transferred abroad in case of actual legal or service-related requirements.
We would like to inform you that we may process your personal data for purposes such as enabling Ticbrands customers to benefit from the services of our brands, informing you about our campaigns with your consent, recording your suggestions and complaints, creating better service standards for you, determining and implementing Ticbrands commercial and business strategies, and in any case in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the relevant legislation.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Ticbrands may only share your personal data in question with our group companies, business partners, customers with whom we have agreements and serve due to our activities, suppliers, audit companies or public institutions or organizations authorized to request such data due to a legal obligation, including but not limited to other relevant authorities, for the purposes of conducting Company activities, ensuring the business relationship between data owners and our customers and/or conducting meetings for this purpose, providing services, opportunities and facilities, and improving service quality, provided that adequate measures are taken within the country based on your explicit consent or within the framework of the security and confidentiality principles specified in the Law, and abroad provided that the necessary security measures are taken.
4. Rights of the Personal Data Owner Listed in Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law (“Law”)
Ticbrands will respond to the following requests from interested parties:
a) To learn whether Ticbrands processes personal data relating to them and which personal data it processes, b) To obtain information regarding the purposes of the processing activity, c) To know the third parties to whom Ticbrands transfers personal data, domestically or abroad, d) To request correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly, e) To request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the law, f) In case of a request for correction, deletion or destruction of personal data, to request notification of the actions taken to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, g) To object to any conclusions to the detriment of the person arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems, and h) To receive a copy of personal data.
